Yamini is a qualified lawyer with over two decades of diverse experience. She started her practice in copyright law with a particular emphasis on movie piracy and enforcement. She has since worked on a variety of commercial and corporate matters at top Indian law firms and the World Bank in Washington DC. She was also a counsel assisting the Supreme Court Commission on the Right to Food on issues relating to food security in India.

Yamini provides strategic advice to clients on adoption and management of IP, particularly on the creation and effective maintenance of IP assets. Her work involves assisting clients in their trade mark adoption, use and protection strategies. She prosecutes trade mark, copyright and design applications and handles client portfolios.

Yamini is also a strategic counsel for international brands, regularly advising on licensing agreements for brand development and expansion. She is actively engaged in policy related to issues around law and technology, digital governance, data privacy and Artificial Intelligence.
