Shantanu is the founding Partner with over two decades experience practicing Intellectual Property and Commercial laws. He is a qualified attorney in India and also a member of the New York Bar.  Apart from practicing in India, he spent four years as a practicing attorney in a prominent IP boutique law firm in Washington DC where he represented clients in trade mark prosecution, enforcement and litigation before the USPTO, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Federal Courts.

Shantanu routinely represents clients in civil, commercial, trade mark, copyright and patent litigation before the Supreme Court, the Delhi High Court and also handles a variety of matters before the High Courts in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata. He has handled a variety of lawsuits encompassing diverse issues relating to contractual and commercial disputes, infringement of trade marks, copyrights, designs and patents; passing off; unfair competition, confidential information and trade secrets, licensing disputes and anti-competitive trade practices. He also routinely counsels clients on the development and protection of their intellectual property globally, including cross border licensing and assignments.
